aKousthéa Cie Alexandre LEVY

Akousthéa emerged of a desire to innovate in the artistic field and took shape in three dimensions – that of digital art, interactivity and contemporary music – which turn out to be the true expression of the company’s specific DNA. Drawing on new technologies, Alexandre Lévy reveals the poetry of spaces; outside and inside; from garden to wasteland, awakening sensations and daydreaming states in participants.

The main underlying themes are universal and symmetrical: man in his natural environment; nature as tentatively shaped by man. To evoke them, aKousthéa chose an original plastic and musical approach, finding its inspiration in the specificity of each location where the company’s interactive sound installations are staged.

Invited to Taiwan and Switzerland in 2015, and to China in 2016, aKousthéa is quickly gaining international renown.

Man and nature, human nature… Among various major sub-themes revolving around these fundamental concepts, aKousthéa wishes to contribute to narrowing the cultural gap for those with handicaps who may have less exposure to art and culture: Alexandre Lévy, also social innovator, proposes artistic and interactive projects which are uniquely adapted to regular use in care institutions.
